IntegRel Engineering successfully executed an advanced piping integrity assessment for a major Oil & Gas facility to prevent unplanned shutdowns. Using a combination of Risk-Based Inspection (RBI), advanced Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), and Fitness-for-Service (FFS) evaluations, the team identified early-stage wall thinning and cracking in a high-vibration section of critical process piping.
Through timely detection and engineering analysis, IntegRel recommended targeted repairs during the next scheduled turnaround, preventing a potential piping failure that could have resulted in over $2 million in production losses.
